Terms of Service

1. About these terms

Yanvara ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Yanvara Pty Ltd (ACN 698 370 535), an Australian company. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Yanvara Pty Ltd governing your use of the Yanvara website, mobile experience and platform features (the "Service").

2. The service

Yanvara provides AI-powered travel planning tools including itinerary generation, AI chat refinement, packing guidance, trip sharing, collaborator workspaces, email itinerary exports and related features. The Service is provided on an as-is basis and we may update, modify or discontinue features at our discretion with reasonable notice for material changes.

3. Account registration

Some features require a Yanvara account. You must provide accurate registration information, keep your password secure and verify your email address. You are responsible for all activity on your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Yanvara to: generate content for illegal activities, spam or abuse the AI features, reverse-engineer the platform, scrape data, attempt to gain unauthorised access, impersonate others, or violate intellectual property rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

5. AI-generated content

AI outputs (itineraries, chat refinements, packing suggestions) may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. You must verify costs, opening hours, weather forecasts, visa and health requirements, safety conditions and booking terms before travelling. Yanvara is a planning tool — final decisions and bookings are your responsibility.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Yanvara Pro is offered as a recurring subscription billed through Stripe at $5 per month (monthly) or $39 per year ($3.25/month) when billed annually. Annual billing saves 35%. Promo codes and referral rewards are honoured at checkout when valid. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. You can change plan or cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then. We do not refund partial periods.

7. Free trial and refunds

Free trial periods, where offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law (such as the Australian Consumer Law for major failures). For billing disputes, contact [email protected].

8. Third-party booking partners

Yanvara provides links to third-party booking partners (such as Booking.com, Skyscanner, GetYourGuide, Holafly and travel insurance providers). We may earn affiliate commissions on bookings made through these links. We do not control the third party's service, pricing, availability or terms — those are between you and the partner. Affiliate revenue never changes what we recommend.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to Yanvara (trip prompts, photos, notes). By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display it for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Content you make public via view-only sharing or the explore feed can be viewed by anyone with the URL.

10. Data export and deletion

You can export your account data as JSON at any time from My Account. You can request account deletion, which runs on a 30-day grace period — the account is disabled immediately and permanently purged after 30 days unless cancelled by contacting [email protected].

11. Intellectual property

The Yanvara website, software, brand, logos and design are owned by Yanvara Pty Ltd and protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, redistribute or create derivative works without our written permission, except for personal use of trips you generate through the Service.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI outputs will be accurate.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yanvara Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including travel disruptions, third-party booking issues, decisions made based on AI outputs, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Yanvara Pty Ltd agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any disputes arising from these terms, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Yanvara after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
